Participate in departmental projects and/or cross-departmental projects.
Assist with maintenance of policies and procedures related to global compensation and benefits.
Ensure Enterprise Risk & Controls team receive all requested information for Sarbanes-Oxley testing.
Support external audit requests.
Prepare additional analysis required for reporting as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
At least three years of financial accounting with regulatory reporting experience preferably within multinational corporations with a matrix organizational environment.
Thorough knowledge of IFRS / U.S. GAAP.
Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize workflow and to coordinate performance of certain tasks with other teams with supervision.
Ability to maintain updated knowledge of procedures, products and activities of assigned.
Experience with automated financial systems, including a general ledger, preferably Workday Financials.
Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including spreadsheet upload, pivot tables and related functions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word
Prior working experience within the mutual fund or asset management industry.
Prior public accounting / external or internal audit experience required, with a Big 4 preferred.
Knowledge and exposure to international accounting issues, currency translation and consolidations.
Prior U.S. and Canadian regulatory reporting experience.
CPA, Chartered Accountant or equivalent (Qualified Accountant).
